Lancelot Beaumont Todd (NZ footballer)
Another New Zealander footballer who embarked the Wimmera, on this occasion to return home, was former All Blacks player L.B. or Lance Todd.
Lance Todd was selected as a member of the New Zealand professional Rugby football team that went to the UK in 1907.

Todd remained in Britain following the tour and later joined the English team Wigan for whom he played for two years.
He returned to Australia aboard the Medic from Liverpool which arrived in Melbourne on Saturday 17 July. He disembarked in Melbourne and made his way to Sydney where he then embarked the Wimmera which departed from Sydney for Auckland on Wednesday 21 July 1909.
He later returned to the UK where he settled permanently.
He is commemorated in English football through the annual Lance Todd Trophy.
