The actress Maud Jeffries embarked the Wimmera at Bluff, New Zealand on 13 February 1905. Together with her husband, James Nott-Osborne, and other members of the Knight-Jeffries Dramatic Company, Maud was bound for Melbourne at the end of the Company’s New Zealand season of performance.
