Captain Enrico Alberto D’Albertis, of Genova (Genoa), Italy arrived in Fremantle, Western Australia en route Sydney from Port Said aboard the P&O liner Mooltan on 12 April 1910. He was then 64 years of age.

In mid-May, whilst in Melbourne, he called at the office of the Governor of Victoria, together with the Acting Consul-General for Italy Consul to pay his respects.
In Sydney on Wednesday 25 May he boarded the SS Wimmera for Auckland arriving there at 9 a.m. on the following Sunday 29 May after a good run across the Tasman. Whilst in Auckland he stayed at the Central Hotel in Auckland. He also paid a visit to Rotorua.
On 16 June 1910 he departed Auckland aboard the Corinthic which was bound for London via Monte Video at which latter port he disembarked.
